Wellness Wednesdays are part of Centred Outdoors' efforts to offer equitable opportunities for outdoor recreation at nearby natural  spaces. The series highlights paths to wellness, engages the community,  and includes local partners.

Centred Outdoors will host free and guided events here the week of June 11th. For self-guided explorations, Shaver's Creek trails are open to the public throughout the year. Join informative guided hikes on Sunday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; Thursday June 15th at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  Explore a variety of nature and hiking trails for all ages at Shaver's Creek Environmental Center. Observe different plants, insects, and animals as you walk between forests, fields, and wetlands. How do the plants and wildlife change as with the different habitats? For an up-close look at wildlife native to the region, leave time to visit the Klingsberg Aviary and Litzinger Herpetarium and before or after you explore the trails.
