A program of ClearWater Conservancy, Centred Outdoors is an invitation to everyone, of every age and fitness level, to explore and enjoy over thirty outdoor destinations throughout Central Pennsylvania. Named for the county it was established in, Centred Outdoors originally launched in 2017 with support from a Centre Foundation Centre Inspires Grant. The goal? To engage all people in the appreciation, conservation, and protection of the bountiful natural resources in Centre and surrounding counties in an active, engaging, and inspiring way. There is no cost to participate in Centred Outdoors and events are always open to the public.

 

We all know that getting outside is good for our mind, body, and spirit, but did you know it's also good for conservation? Our gratitude for local landscapes and the wildlife grows when we experience them firsthand, and we gain a deeper desire to protect these precious natural resources for future generations.
