Shaver's Creek Environmental Center
Centred Outdoors will host free and guided events here the week of June 11th. For self-guided explorations, the trails are open to the public throughout the year. Join informative guided hikes on Sunday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; Thursday June 15th at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Our "Wellness Wednesday" activites will take place on Wednesday June 14th at 6:00 p.m. Stay tuned for more info about the wellness topic and presenters!
Explore a variety of nature and hiking trails for all ages at Shaver's Creek Environmental Center. Observe different plants, insects, and animals as you walk between forests, fields, and wetlands. How do the plants and wildlife change as with the different habitats? For an up-close look at wildlife native to the region, leave time to visit the Klingsberg Aviary and Litzinger Herpetarium and before or after you explore the trails.
