Centred Outdoors will host free and guided events at the Ray F. Decker Trail on September 3rd. For self-guided explorations, the trail is open to the public throughout the year. Join an informative guided hike at the Ray F. Decker Trail on Sunday, September 3rd at 11:00 AM.
Connect with the past via a short yet steep hike up the Ray F. Decker Trail, connecting to the James Cleveland Memorial Trail. Visit a monument in honor of James Cleveland, an airmail pilot who passed away in May 1931 in a plane crash on Mount Nittany between Centre Hall and Pleasant Gap. Follow the trail to reach the top where an inscribed pillar and wreckage from the tragic accident memorialize this prominent piece of Centre County history.
