Mother's Day Wildflower Walk

On Sunday, May 8 at 1 or 3 p.m., take a hike with Mother Nature on Mother's Day along the Spring Creek Canyon, Fisherman's Paradise entrance. Terry Melton, ClearWater Board member and native plant enthusiast and expert, will guide visitors along the way as they stop to admire the multitudes of flowering plants along the trail. 

Many early-blooming species can be found along the and participants will have the opportunity to learn how to identify both native and invasive species. Hikes will leave from the parking area at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. 

Please arrive a few minutes early with a water bottle and comfortable shoes. For GPS, use the following address: Fisherman's Paradise, Bellefonte, PA
