About the event
Learn and observe with Centred Outdoors guides as your child discovers the joy of outdoor free play!
This program is designed for preschool and elementary age children and their caregivers. A learning experience for adults, and a fun day for kids! Outdoor free play offers countless benefits to children. It supports healthy development, encourages problem solving and independence, and  connects our youth to the natural world.
Things to remember:
- RSVPs are required.
- Bring a full water bottle.
- Dress for the weather: sturdy footwear for playing in the woods, sunscreen and bug spray are recommended.
- This event will be held in Sunset Park and in Hartley Wood adjoining the park, managed by the Arboretum at Penn State. Parking for this event is in the Sunset Park lot on McKee Street.
