About the event
Full Moon Paddle at Lake Perez
Experience Lake Perez under a full moon! Join us for a peaceful evening paddle as the moon rises over the surrounding forest and mountains. This is a beautiful, safe way to see the lake in a whole new light.
July's full moon is known as the Buck Moon, named for the new antlers male deer grow around this time of year.
PSU will provide headlamps for participants, with Centred Outdoors bringing extra gear as backup. Please come prepared with bug protection, water, a layer in case it gets chilly, and a change of clothes.
All necessary paddling gear is provided and participants are encouraged to wear activewear, or clothes/shoes you don't mind getting wet.
Age restriction: Every minor must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian and share a boat. Due to seating limitations in tandem canoes and kayaks, an adult cannot bring more than one minor to this event.
