Wellness Wednesday: Wellness for Kids!

Led by the Jana Marie Foundation

Registration is required. Registration opens 7 days before the event. We encourage you to register early; some programs fill quickly. We also reserve the right to cancel a program for low registration numbers.

About the Program:

Whether you're seeking a little inspiration, creative expression, or a peaceful way to connect with others, this event is for you and your family! Join Centred Outdoors and the Jana Marie Foundation to discover how we are all "Woven Together". Staff from the Jana Marie Foundation will start by reading a storybook to the group before we make a weaving craft together. We will finish with some teambuilding activities that show kids the importance of finding connections with others and how empathy can help us build stronger communities.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so that we can get started right at 6:00 p.m. The program will end at 8:00 p.m., but we understand if you and your child need to leave earlier to keep your weeknight routine!

About the Presenter:

Jana Marie Foundation harnesses the power of creative expression and dialogue to spark conversations, build connections, and promote mental health and well-being among young people and their communities.

All programs are held rain or shine. In the event of a cancellation for severe weather, registrants will be contacted by email and/or phone, and it will be announced on our website, Facebook, and Instagram.

Wellness Wednesdays are part of Centred Outdoors' efforts to offer equitable opportunities for outdoor recreation at nearby natural  spaces. The series highlights paths to wellness, engages the community,  and includes local partners.
