Bald Eagle State Park - Maps & Information

Centred Outdoors will host free and guided events at Bald Eagle State Park the week of August 13th. For self-guided explorations, the trails are open to the public throughout the year. Join informative guided hikes on Sunday, August 13th at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; and Thursday August 17th at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Get out and explore the biodiversity and interesting trails of Bald Eagle State Park. Bring your binoculars and field guides to this incredibly diverse area. Nesting birds of prey and waterfowl co-mingle on the lake, pollinators parole the many fields of flowering plants, and a 200-year-old oak tree awaits the ambitious adventurer. Outings will follow the Butterfly Trail.

  • Sturdy shoes and a filled water bottle (32 oz. or more per adult) are necessary for all outings. Water filling stations are not available at most locations.
  • Sun and insect protection recommended such as sunscreen, insect repellent, long sleeves/pants, or hat. Please note: This destination is next to Class A trout fishery, and where there are  trout, there are bugs! Insect protection will provide a much more  enjoyable outdoor experience.
  • Limited Cell Service at this location - bring or download maps to use offline.
  • Shuttle Van Service available for both 11 AM outings - see Transportation.
  • Need Gear? Reserve items from our Gear Library.
