Description: Enjoy a walk through the Hartley Wood and explore the different types of wildflowers and herbaceous plants that make up our backyard. Learn about the impact of invasive species on the forest landscape and what efforts are taken to manage them. Wrap up the evening with a self-guided stroll through the botanical gardens and take in the sights, smells, and sounds of Spring.

Parking: Parking is available at The Arboretum’s free lot along Bigler Road at no cost. Please pick up a parking pass at the office door at the Overlook Pavilion when visiting on weekdays between 7 am-5 pm.
Accessible: Not Recommended
Policy: Dogs on leash are allowed on the trails but are not allowed in the gardens.
Gear: Shoes that can handle some mud. Long pants if concerned about ticks. Bottled water. A pair of binoculars for bird watching.
