Spring Creek Canyon
The Spring Creek Canyon is a site of tremendous historic significance to Centre County and hosts a fantastic biodiversity. Site of the main settlement by Philip Benner in the late 1800's, the canyon has a vast history. Ecologically diverse as well, Spring Creek offers ample opportunities for wildlife viewing and an abundance of native plant species. Guests can expect to find everything from trillium to tulip poplars. There are three main access to the trail: Rock Road, State Game lands 333, and Fisherman’s Paradise. All offer unique avenues for exploring the canyon.
